Outreach Training
Outreach training is delivered throughout Salford at libraries and community venues to enable people to gain more confidence and take their first steps into learning or return to learning. Tasters, short courses and bespoke training can be arranged.
Venues have included Broadwalk and Walkden Library where Myguide and First Time Online courses allowed local people to a first taste of computer and internet use. Several students at these sessions learned to use email as a means of keeping in touch with family spread around the world.
Other venues have included Cadishead Fit City, Langworthy Cornerstone and the Salvation Army Housing Association.
