At Broughton D@TAbase you will learn on Pentium™ 4 PCs with large 17inch LCD screens running the XP versions of Microsoft® Windows and Office applications with 8MB Broadband Internet Access. There are plenty of computers available for working at your own pace during flexible drop-in sessions.
Internet, scanning and colour printing facilities are available during flexible sessions for members’ use. There is a small charge for printing.
Laptops with 3G wireless Internet connection are used in our outreach work in libraries and community venues across Salford.
We have a range of accessibility ICT equipment for people with various needs such as visual and physical impairments. Please talk to a tutor if you feel you need any specialist help.
